Cranky's Tower Drop

Couldn't spot a thread on this, apologies if I have missed it.

One thing I note about this ride is that the speaker for the "puffing" noise is really loud when you are in the queue. More often than not when I've been on there have been kids who have decided to leave the line as its a bit overwhelming.

I don't know if this that that loud though because when you are on the ride you don't really hear it any where near as much as it is mounted on the shed and you move out of its range.

My little lad loves the ride though - although he too was scared by the noise first time we joined the queue - its also a good introduction to a different kind of safety harness.

The noise is a bit much even for my ears. My kids enjoy this ride but last time we went my youngest wouldn’t go on due to the noise it makes.

I thought they had not as much noise at one point it is either that or i cannot hear things

I was under the impression that noise was the ride itself being a bit dodgy. If it's from speakers it's ridiculously noisy. My daughter holds her ears coming out of the station on Thomas because of it!

Yeah think so. I think Looping have removed the Bryan’s name from it since the sale.

I can't go on the foot bridge while it's running because of the noise!

Yeah it is a very loud ride. Honestly I don't even mind loud noises but Cranky just really does it for me!
