The park have revealed via their social channels that they are hosting "Kids Out Colour Dash" on Sunday 16th June 2019 from 9am-12pm. This event is associated with KidsOut and is a "5k Colour Dash".
Every contestant that participates, a Colour Dasher, will receive a white t-shirt ready to get as much colour on it as they run around the 5k course - the more colour, the better! Every contestant that finishes is given a medal and everybody attending will be given the opportunity to gain access to the park by getting a minimum sponsorship of £10.00 per person.
A Colour Dash is a race route around Drayton Manor grounds, through the campsite, woods and the zoo. There are strategic colour station, where KidsOut volunteers will be primed to cover contestants in powder paint! At the end of the race, contestants evidence that they have a minimum sponsorship of £10.00 per person and are given Theme Park tickets for after the race!
This is a pre-book event via EventBrite and the race begins at 10am, with arrivals from 9am. Anybody can take part regardless of running ability, the event is not timed and is designed for enjoyment only. No contestants under the age of 2 many take part, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. No pets or push chairs are allowed.
