Visited the park today and it was the quietest I’ve ever seen and managed to do everything within a couple of hours.
The live Dinosaur show for march of the dinosaurs we personally found to be he better than the version showed during the Dinosaur breakout event.
Quite a few construction areas around park. As mentioned from another member , they’ve started clearing the former Apocalypse and pandemonium site and so I’d imagine we will see more to come over the next 1-2 months in regards to progression.
We did however find that the games stall opposite the fun foods place was fenced off, and by the looks of it they had been clearing it out. Weather it’s just a refurbishment or not we will soon see but this caught my interest.
We also went on winston and found it interesting that they’ve now begun to set up a green screen photo op area. I’m under that impression due to the camera equipment having been moved there showing the different modes to select. I didn’t take a photo of this as I didn’t find it necessary however as you exit winston where the green screen used to be it is all blocked off.
It appears perhaps they are moving the thomas model rail way to this area. If not the model then they are certainly building something very similar. I was able to take a photo as someone had left the gate open.
In regards to the new water ride , they are certainly making head way with carpentry specialists on site building new platform themed areas. My little boy was excited that it’s a log flume and the lovely ride Op told me little boy that the new flume is going to be exactly like the kiddy flume at chessington. I’m taking this with a pinch of salt as I know it’s most likely not been revealed.
The Flying Dutchman has been reassembled and the carousel is slowly being reassembled with the horses continuing to be stored in the bumper cars building. And the pavement around storm force was being jet washed.
This is all I saw today.
