When I stayed at the hotel, this was the room I stayed in for the night.

I'm going to book that next time I go. I do love the Thomas rooms there really nice
It’s really well themed. You should defo go on the Weekend or In Half term so you can have breakfast with Sir Topham and Dusty. ( subject to availability) You just ask what time they are out and book a table for that time

The Hotel appears to be an increasingly popular option at Drayton Manor, I’m seeing plenty of cars parked up here throughout the week.

I stopped by for an evening meal recently, and for the first time some aspects of the hotel seemed a little tired, which was a shame given the high standard Drayton Manor Hotel always withheld.

Firstly, the blue lights on the exterior of the building — many were flickering (I feel sorry for visitors whose windows surrounded these) and some were off. Surely this can’t be a difficult fix?

In Reception, they’ve parked a brilliant Thomas Model, really great addition. Unfortunately they’ve added a “Parklands” Menu Board next to the model which contains a badly typed “Do Not Climb” sign. Completely off-brand and had lots of grammatical errors.

The Reception Area and general facilities seemed to have aged poorly, it was dimly lit without LED Lighting, lots of bulbs out, and some really dusty sails above the Reception Desk. There’s also a random dragon head stuck on the wall, too.

The biggest positive was the refurbishment work done on the Bar Area, which felt much more warm and homely, closing the area in and adding some furniture has made a massive difference.
