Security

Drayton Manor have introduced security checks at the entrances to the park for a while now, these generally involve a brief bag search before entry to the park is granted, and is after the turnstiles. Personally I think it's great that the park have added this measure, although it is a reflection of todays society.

What is your opinion of the Security check? Do you feel this impedes the flow of guests into the park at all?

I think all parks need a bag check these days. I feel much safer in parks with one (regardless of what they charge to get in) than parks that don’t check at all! Plus it dosnt take too long and overall security staff I’ve encountered are friendly and often joke about with kids about what there most looking forward too! Definetly a step forward!

It’s not as bad as Thorpe Park as there you need to empty your pockets and walk thought a metal detector.
