Vertigo’s Old Reception

This building in Vikings used to be home to the reception space for the old high ropes course that used to reside in the space now home to Vikings. The building was of course themed into the area but has yet to open with anything inside, what do you think could go inside this building?

They use it as storage, there’s pushchairs , wheels chairs and a large amount of water inside .

They do have that lare plot by it for a future expansion, perhaps it could become a part of that?

That’s okay , I only got a peak inside as we happened to be at the park on the hottest day of the year haha crazy I know but the park was giving everybody bottles of water for free to keep hydrated throughout the day from there and the old sweet shop at the main entrance car park. Though I am curious why they closed that one down. I remember popping in after leaving the gates and getting the jars of rock sweets to eat before going to the car.

That building use to be a cafe and it should be reopened as 1.

I like this idea, perhaps it could be a shop considering Walhalla is next door.

I do feel that with the amount of stuff that’s stored around the maintenance and back stage area they could easily have the whole of the surf shack selling ride parts and theming and have the shop by Vikings and reopen the shop by the main entrance and sell souvenirs.

The buildings doors were open today, my little lad looked to see if the Spinosaurus was in there still, it wasn't, but this nordic looking gentleman was....

I would love to see a backstage tour. I bet they have loads of vintage figures from back in the day. Drayton seem to hoard everything.

I remember seeing an ariel video of the park at the beginning of the year the shark that was next to the bounty was behind the haunting

That'd be a hell of a jump scare having that coming out at you!!

They must be getting installed around the Sleipnir ride as this Viking been installed in the past week.

Can see the kiosk been used again in the summer months

Yeah I would love to have a look round the back of the former garden centre at the park as so many former stuff just lying on the floor including this dragon that use to be in the castle of dreams during the Christmas event.
