The rides storage baskets are now in use in the sweet shop
That's a good way to reuse them. Didn't Shawn get some of them as well for the British Theme Park Museum?

Shame he didn't get them whilst he could have still used them to store some journalisitc integrity in.

They were for sale in the catalogue for £200 each so they decided to just reuse stuff.

This is a very good use for them
Unfortunately, I couldn't justify the price to buy one from the catalogue (It did feel a little steep for normal looking metal baskets which are a bit big for any real use for me) - So its really nice to see that they are being reused in a practical way instead at the park.
Love seeing a bit of recycling of old ride parts & assets.
There's really no reason not to - saves money, looks cool, cool detail, fun for fans, saves waste, literally no reason not to re-use!
Looking back this made me sound like a bit of an environmentalist, I'm not
