A magic carpet like Quantum would work very well!!I think the park need to buy or least a magic carpet ride as that foot print could easily go on the big wheel site.
I liked that 1 also I went to Chessington the for the 1st time when that was last in the park.I love magic carpet rides! Always remember the one at Chessington before Samurai
It's really sad news about M&D's because it's Scotland's main theme park and although their main coaster is rough like anything, I hope we don't end up with another Loudoun Castle! With M&D going into administration today maybe Drayton could buy some of there flat rides. I see they got a magic carpet ride.

Loudoun Castle still has a few rides sadly rotting away like the Plough for instance, however recently they managed to sell and refurbish Goldrush which was formerly 4 Man Bob at Alton Towers. I do hope that they can make it through but if they do have to sell their Magic Carpet, then I don't see why Drayton shouldn't rip out Test Track and put a nice proper ride for a replacement! Is that still got all the rides still in place? The administrations will do there best to try to find a buyer and giving them options how to Raise money to clear debts or maybe go again without the theme park section.
But the last time Drayton brought a new attraction it cost £350000 with James and the red balloon and that price included the theming. Update! M&Ds didn't have their magic carpet ride at the start of the season!!But the last time Drayton brought a new attraction it cost £350000 with James and the red balloon and that price included the theming. Air Race was 1.2m
Oh yeah because they've got Zodiac and Heave Ho! And probably others as well! You say Drayton won’t buy 2nd hand rides but Merlin parks is full of them. They even got 2 of our former rides.
Chessington did the right thing moving Flying Jumbos to replace the HB Leisure thing, because it's more noticed now! They also moved a lot of there own attractions around.
