I do think this is more than a basic wave swinger. As they built it on a higher platform which may have fountains installed under the platform and spray guests like at Chessington. It will also go with the theme of the new area. Will take pictures on Monday.

Yeah I noticed it's sitting quite high up, will be interesting to see what they do with it.

Made me laugh when I saw it's a Zierer and not Zamperla for once!

Not a lot of work been done since Friday FB update but they cementing in the floor and added a base near the front.

I wonder if the boats are part of the rides theming or area theming?

These are the kind of names I give to rides I build on planet coaster because I have the creative depth of a thimble.

I mean it is poor don't get me wrong. But. Both river rapids and waveswinger directly fit the storyline the area follows so I guess they played it safe. Tidal Towers shows they are up for better names

Was at the park today, it was a lot of fun. Got to take a few pictures of the area and they've made a ton of progress. It looked like they were working on the operations cubical today.

I know what you mean....on the one pic the scaling deceives the eye somewhat and it looks like a bit like the magic roundabout crossed with a toadstool! But when you see the fence panels and realise that they are all about 6 foot tall you get a different perspective.

I really like the look of it, you can spot it now on the skyline of the park and it's quite exciting to see.
