CoasterEnthusiast I think you may be on to something. Since Drayton Manor announced that there would be a big announcement I immediately thought it involved Pirate Adventure.

The parks definitely hinting somethings happening with pirates adventure

Although this year is 75 Years of Drayton Manor the Museum I love the idea for that, it didn't even mention Pirate's Adventure in the video at all kind of skipped over it like it never happened when it was Drayton's Largest ever investment especially with how.

Joe maybe Pirate Adventure wasn’t featured as Drayton Manor know it’s returning next year and technically the ride is still at Drayton Manor. The majority of the Theming was auctioned off although the ride itself is still intact at Drayton Manor.

I don't really understand why it would be 3 days long if its just an announcement... But I would guess it would be an announcement on the final day of the "event" if if was coming this month.

Imagine if the 'event' was a behind the scenes look inside the building. All the work we have been seeing, to make a safe and accessible route through the attraction for the general public.

That’s what I was thinking, and then they also announce Pirate Adventure is reopening

Hate to say it, but that is the most unlikely thing to happen - these kinds of ride access / behind the scenes sort of things need a whole lot of risk assessments and wouldn't just be a free for all for the general public. They'd need to be guided tours if anything. They'd not do that if they were announcing the return of the ride as the building would essentially be an active / preparing building site.

I don't think anyone will be seeing inside that building for a while yet.

Dan_R imagine if Pirate Adventure has been refurbished behind the scenes, and Drayton Manor are hyping up the long awaited reopening next year by showing the Public the work that’s been carried out so far. The Public Tours could be a teaser into what can be expected once Pirate Adventure reopens next year (2026).

I wouldn't trust the gift shop as a credible source for anything major... ^^ the shop has sold various toys for many years of a range of themes and topics.

They’ve been selling pirate related stock for a long time now. Ever since they’ve sorted adventure cove out, we’ve always been able to get it. They do have other pirate themed attractions on site so it links in with those.
