It’s the most half hearted job of a coaster painting job ever. They painted it in stages during the closed seasons and on the lift hill a lot of the supports are the original colour.

Opened in 1994, what are your thoughts on Shockwave?
The front is great on Shockwave. When you get to the top of the lift hill and the car starts to drop you can’t see anything in front of you for a second or so!Went on this for the 1st time in 3/4 years and not sure if it’s my age or the coasters age but rode the front and it felt faster but more rougher. We got back to the station and as no one else had joined the queue they asked if we wanted to go round again we said no thanks and got off. The couple next of us had been round 3 times without moving seats.
Not good. That’s happened a few times this season. It’s always a fear of mine as I get claustrophobic especially if locked in tight.Shockwave has currently been stuck on the lift hill for about an hour. No guests have yet been evacuated, however I hope the issue is resolved soon
The red train is no longer used, however I am fairly certain it is still on site. However I think they probably just use it for parts for the blue train. To answer your question, I don’t really think there’s much of a noticeable difference.Which train is better, the blue train or the red because I've only ever been on the blue one
