We've seen this "salt water soul" name mentioned quite a few times during teasers for The Wave but I haven't really seen many people mention it. Probably something to do with the new theme?

im hoping more is happening in the queue and station than slapping new signage on the old walls with the exterior having updates im liking the look of what is happening so far though hoping for a opening to be announced soon!

If you look into the station building from the ground you can see it’s been given a bright colour scheme and I’m sure the rest of the queue will have the same.

I assume that would be the case - like how in the first teaser for The Wave we saw that minivan taking some guests from the entrance of Adventure Cove to the coaster.

Looks like the queue has been tied into the ride a bit more, and the ride station actually has more of a theme than plain painted walls. I really like the look of it, although that train reveal seems like a rather cheeky copy of Hyperia's

I agree. An event themed around a... bank holiday is very random considering we have quite a few of them throughout the year (in England anyways) so it would make sense for the ride to open then as well. However I may just be giving myself false hope as I would like it to open before the 12th which is when I visit.

The Wave was testing pretty much constantly this afternoon. I wonder if opening is next weekend - to iron out any issues ahead of the bank holiday event.

It was running all day which was nice to see. We did notice though it seemed to have a very loud squeak. Hopefully this goes after the run through.
