I do agree but until the ride offering is complete on the top half of the park I don’t believe they can solve the catering problem at hand. If you think about it , until the new coaster arrives the top end is practically dead. Drunken barrels have always been a walk on 0 person queue on our visits as not many people either know it’s there or justify walking to that end of the park. It seems like the biggest queue for food tends to be the burger bar when it’s raining and the chippy. The ice cream parlour is a large unoccupied space that even when it was open couldn’t pull in the numbers. Park food tends to be expensive and in these financial struggle times families are opting more towards bringing their own food. I can imagine for the grill it would require someone with the relevant food degree to operate and there is far too many outlets for the numbers Drayton are pulling in. I can imagine as well just like for us, costs have risen for Drayton for catering supplies. I miss the curly fries that you used to be able to get.I think that could be the reason they only had it open a couple of times as many guests most have been asking for food that wasn’t available.
I do think Drayton must have a catering problem with staff as you think how many food and drink venues/counters there is around the whole park that is closed.
I miss the hotdog counter by Shockwave.
