All will depend on weather and temperatures as I went to a Christmas event in 2023 and none of the coasters were open.
 
Grotto availability update

[Remembered to get myself booked in after seeing this!]

Its nice that they have shared the availability of both - I would assume the accessible grotto has a lower capacity of tickets available either way compared to the main grotto to ensure a more relaxed environment.

I’m glad they gave me a link to book the grotto as mine and my daughter’s annual passes don’t run out to the 23rd November.
I booked for 6 of us to go on the 23rd December.
 
When we saw santa last year, they print off your Santa photo and you dont have to pay for it, but do they also add it to the digital photos if you ask them to as well? as everytime I go I ALWAYS buy the ride photos and I'd love to have the santa photo from this year digitally even if I have to pay extra for it, thats not a problem at all

I don't know unfortunately - can always ask when you are there and see if they can (if its on the same system as the other photos, I reckon it shouldn't be an issue :) )
 
I feel the Christmas side of it is missing.
Like the Thomas land show is years old now but love the snow storm afterwards.
Can’t see many watching the outdoor shows today or tomorrow.

OMG the improvement of the Christmas event was excellent and the only thing missing was the ice rink.

I can safely say it is a lot better than last years offerings. Except the tree on the lake the rest of it was reused stuff from the Bryan’s days. That tree in the plaza use to light up to music but it stopped working but they adding new normal lights and looks so much better welcoming guests to the park. The Rusty and Dusty experience looked ok and looks well themed and the penny arcade been stripped out and Santa is in the room where you pushed the buttons to make things work.
With the weather and problems most of the rides outside of Thomas land was closed

Winston did open at the end of the day as Sodor cars was having problems

thankyou for this, what was the train like compared to the wishmas express last year? do you have any photos of that?
 
Everything at 5 mins today. The rain was breaking Sodor cars - but everything else, including Gold Rush opened.

Interestingly Frontier Falls and Accelerator closed at 4pm, an hour earlier than expected. Maybe because it was very quiet!

It must be staffing or lack of guests at that end of the park as it was closed at 4pm yesterday. Can’t really understand why the Bounty is open with its 1.2m restriction
 
I've not long ago read on facebook that you have to pay for the photo with santa this year, it was given free last year... can anyone confirm this? Shocking if true..
