Same hereNot going to deny it, we're going to miss the Dinosaurs.
I have to agree, Thomas events always get an eyeroll from me. I guess its an wasy crowd puller for the park...If anyone wanted to check them out, this is the team who provided the dinosaurs.
They also do a range of other themes and support a wide range of attractions.

I know Thomas is a big part of the park and a good one to include, but I would like to see an event that isn't Thomas themed (Sorry Thomas, I feel like we're seeing a lot of you recently. As much as I do like Thomas, I would prefer other events, especially for wider age ranges/target audiences)
Made a threadIt seems the event is also for Draytons 75th anniversary, on the website it says about Draytons 75th birthday
I assume it will be the same price as at christmas £4.50 for 5 marshmallows.![]()
February Half Term Days Out: Big Blue Birthday Bash
Enjoy a half term day out this February with live entertainment, a candy trail & more for Thomas the Tank Engines’ 80th Birthday.www.draytonmanor.co.uk
They have added the event and it pretty much is Thomasland only. Outside of Thomasland there is only currently mention of Carousel and Accelerator (not looking good for internal refurbishment this year if also open in March unless done in January/February). Although could change in the next few weeks based on past experience.
There seems to be an element of upselling with party buckets and the marshmallows on sale so are focussed on income. Makes commercial sense particularly if sweets and marshmallows left from Halloween/Christmas.
As expected it is a thomas event.
It's a same though not to have all of Thomas land open though.Guess that explains why Accelerator was added to the list of rides - for a coaster to be open during the event
Potentially behind on maintenance or an issue with the trucks
