Can’t believe the rapids reopening is more positive news than a new play area and wave swinger.
Anyway been 3 weeks since my last update.
The covered queue line and fencing is coming on nicely.

I wonder if the pumps will go up and down again and steam come out of the tops? I wonder what the water tank is for?

They certainly haven't been mucking about, which is a start. One thing we can say is that Drayton are doing more now than they have done in the past 10 years in the actual park outside Thomas Land. It's great to be able to say that.

I'm guessing testing will commence wither next week or next over half term as the tools and rubbish in the trough from construction has been removed now

Looked like they had on Saturday from what I could see from Shockwave. Didn't get to go on the train though, so can't 100% confirm.

Yep seems almost all of it is potentially 100%

Hopefully we'll see some testing soon then. I wonder if they'll add more theming or plants around the trough or if that will remain bare to allow greater visibility.

Hoping they will add more theming to the Rapids and the area as a whole when the new play area and ride installed.

We now have water at the bottom of the lift hill and a boat on the conveyor. Couldn’t get a photo as was with he kids, but can’t be too long now until opening

They may as well do as much testing as possible over the next 2 days. I wonder if the train will be out of action this week.
