The only problem that could go against shockwave is that all that water has soaked into the concrete foundations.

I doubt that will have happened. If anything the algae on splash Canyon might have been washed away??
I did wonder if it would have refilled itself in the flood.

I wonder with the park been closed they will do work to hopefully stop it flooding as much in the future.
It will be interesting to see if they do carry on with any construction work. The lockdown isn’t as restrictive for construction workers outside as other occupations.

I think to keep wages to a minimum only salary staff will be in. No outside contractors will be there.

I'm hoping they clear up the G-Force rubble and remove the Chairlift fences and maybe auction them off?!
Everyone seems to want the chairlift fence!
Any word on where g force has gone or is going? I can’t imagine many places will be looking for coasters at the current time.

Yes I would love to add them to my old ride parts collection ?. That's an idea for Drayton to try what Blackpool do... Authentic Ride Parts!!
I really hope they don’t do this only so I don’t end up buying any. My wife would kill me!

After so many deaths in the past 24 hrs the MP gonna force every business who can’t work from home or not needed to be open to close by the 9th April with a lockdown to at least June. With 1m rule in place to at least to next year. If Drayton Manor do ever reopen this season it will more than likely be just Thomas land.
I hope this virus Doesn’t finish off all non Merlin UK attractions as you be able to buy everything.

They definately have enough parts to do this
I've seen quite a bit of demand for something like this across the site, hopefully it is something Drayton Manor will consider adding at some point. It'd be a win-win situation, it would fill up some space in pre-existing shops and hopefully bring some footfall to make secondary purchases of existing items, and it would cost nothing extra in staffing as the shops are already manned. I think there are more enthusiasts that visit Drayton Manor than we think, and I definitely think that ride parts (which I assume are normally disposed of) would make money, as well as any theming they might have lying around which they could name their price for.
Maybe we create a thread on this and discuss this further?

I hope there shops were covered as most there stock was damaged in the floor so depends on if they reopen the toy shop and sweet shop again this season.

Same because I was hoping to do a massive merch buy this year, maybe. I mean, buy a mug or an on ride photo!! Not any sweets for me however, that doesn't make the park memorable for me!!!
