Stormforce 10

It was a 2 hour and 30 minute wait for stormforce today, only idiots would wait that long..... Great run in the end though!

Where was the end of the queue. I remember in 1999 when I joined the queue by the entrance of the rapids but they had more boats and didn’t worry about how loaded the boats

Back when it opened, there was a more advanced animatronic in the current ones place. It was designed by Farmer Studios and was modelled after Henry Freeman.

I do feel like storm force needs something to hold you in place, when I went I went on it and almost fell out twice one coming down the splash area where I bounced out my seat and when I was coming down the hill I almost fell out so I'd add seatbelts to it

I have never done Stormforce before due to both of these reasons mentioned. I heavily dislike the idea of being covered in lake water, which as you said, stinks and to be honest I'm just not a major fan of water rides in general. And also the massive queues it gains on hot days.

Blimey! I knew it looked good when it was new, but this video completely exceeded my expectations!!! The amount of details, props, jokes, and the amazing Henry Freeman Animatronic. It really feels like a real place, but with a bit of British style and humour in it. I love the working radio in the queue, it really gives the ride a feeling of it actually being lived in! Never knew how good the first drop was with the darkness and the animatronic and the audio. "Are ye ready? 'Ight, 'ere you go!"

Though on the other side of the coin, it really shows how much the ride has fallen over the years. From Hery Freeman's removal, none of the animations working, paint looking worn and faded, and the lack of audio. I'd love the ride to be restored back to its former glory!
 
The Euro Theme Park Archive channel is uploading other old Drayton videos, so one to keep an eye on.

The animatronic on first drop looks amazing here, would love that back to former glory (At least we still have the shutter)
