The Wave - Shockwave re-theme

I think they'll open everything in a few steps says Terence at the start of the season.

Shockwave maybe may and then could be back to their old ways of late June/ early July for the new coaster

I’m surprised they not done any media coverage on this like they have with Terence.
I think the main issue is that work hasn't really started on Shockwave yet and since we all know they don't like to give things away too early they probably won't post a concept image or really anything. Also Terrance is opening for half term and Shockwave may not even be open for the start of the season at the current rate of construction.

I’m terms of shockwave , we can’t say for sure what’s been happening. It may be they are redoing the inside areas before anything else as they can keep that hidden.

I suspect shockwaves colours were done when they last reapinted it in preparedness for its new theme, to save having to repaint it a few years later.

I do hope they have it open for opening day. We are already going to be down on 3 attractions that will form part of the new area, to have another shut at the start of the season isn't a great start to what should be an epic year for the park. Fingers crossed we see some updates soon

I know they been working on the queue line and station area and the new train if it is been made by Intamin I can see the new coaster trains arriving the same time as Shockwave new trains.

I assume the pieces will be fixed together.. running two cars of 4 feels like a bad idea
They are going to be put together to make larger cars I believe yes :)

I like the colours - they're going to pop out a lot when on the tracks.
From where we can see though, not a lot more I can say until we get a closer look.

I think it should be called sitdown and opened by James with sitdown playing all day, or is that just me? Not sure on the yellow and the track needs something done with it in the next month.

Given adventure cove’s theming might we see water effects for the new shockwave? A wake fountain that activates on the flat section of the ride when the train passes could be fun (nice little shower for those passing underneath too).
