I can’t see them going with that, there’s already two water rides with that name at Thorpe and Crealy, plus they already have Tidal Towers.

not leaving themselves many options though. Maybe they should have gone with a surf theme with Ride the Wave as a tag line if they wanted a reference
 
A surf theme would work well with Adventure cove - its a theme mentioned a lot on the Adventure Cove FM radio too.
And shockwaves track does kinda look like a wave I guess?

Wave Rider?
 
All the suggested names are pretty nice but I feel none of them are very... significant. For example, 'Wave Rider', (in my opinion) doesn't really sound like much of a thrill coaster, more like a kiddy flat ride that goes round a track. I guess the names could fit in with the family demographic but I still don't think any of the suggested names sound very intimidating or scary.
 
I like how everyone has at least agreed on the "Wave" idea here :)

I just keep thinking surfing with the way the track looks & the adventure cove area...
 
Just a thought: if with the new trains, Looping installed an enso like system but with 1/2 rows standing up, would you pay for it and how much?

I would not. (I didn't enjoy Shockwave) I don't really agree with Enso being an extra charge personally.

I don't think they will do a stand up option anyway as it would require a seperate queue and height restriction (which the sit down trains changes).
As much as people will miss stand up, the park has made the decision, its time for a sit down Shockwave
 
I am not a fan of upcharges for rides. I personally think once you pay to come into the park, you should be able to joing the queue. I was disappointed when they joined the band wagon with fast pass. I will not pay for fastpass or alternative options like riding backwards. As stated above, it does devalue the standard offering.

If they wanted to do the stand up train then I think they would have to do a sit down train and a stand up train and offer the alternative trains with separate queues similar to apocalypse. It also is not the way frorward for family thrill. I personally prefer the family thrill rather than the thrill rides now that I am a bit older he says coughing!
 
Looks like we are getting our first Shockwave refresh teaser tomorrow!
