Did the original exhibition receive any major changes at all since it opened? (excluding the relocation)
I personally wouldn't know. I only went in there twice maybe

No not really just engines being changed and rolling stock being taken on and off, Thomas pulled the same express coach for 8 years !

Errrr...it got dustier year by year and the trains became less reliable.

I wonder what’s next for the exhibiton when they do a update
I dont think they will do any updates
To my knowledge, the original didn't get any.
If anything, it will be maintaining & fixing - maybe an update in the form of an overhead net
