If you visit Drayton between September 1st and October 15th, you will receive a free return ticket to use before November 15th.

I may take advantage of this as I enjoy going in November (not magical christmas) as the park is usually dead and I could also get back on my favourite rides in September.
Is the 1st and November 15th magical Christmas

With half term been 30th Oct to 3rd Nov this year can see the fireworks been on the 3rd, 4th and maybe 5th November this year.
With the park opening at weekends only for there winter weekenders and going off Drayton Manors dates from last year the Christmas event ran from 26th November to the 24th December with all staff getting 2 weeks off as a big thank you and the park reopened for the Feb half term event.

This is interesting.

Being an awkward so and so who loves a bargain I'm wondering how this would fit with annual pass renewal. I know that you get a day ticket knocked off the price of a season pass. Our passes run out on the 8th October the possibilty of using this offer to effectively extending the term of the next annual pass is attractive, especially if I can get that towards the black friday deals that often appear be that for this year or next.

Checked out the new Vikings shop for the first time.

Some new merchandise offerings in there for the season (along with all the usual favourites!)

See anything you like?

This is how it works say you buy a ticket online for £30 and the pass is £115 you will only pay £85 for it on the day. You got 30 days to renew your pass after it’s expired and you save 10%

Like the signage, but it would have been good to have another sign saying..."want to ride with your friends but they are at the back of the queue? Then join them at the back of the queue...everyone else will love you for it"

To detail what is expected behaviour is just as important as what is not allowed.

That sign of yours needs to be on shockwave :ROFLMAO:

Looks like the sign under the main Vikings shop sign has been removed potentially (it was there on Saturday)

Been on park today - still lots of rides closed and closing randomly throughout the day (these aren’t breakdowns because they close the queue line and let the queue run down before closing). At one point one half of Thomas land was pretty much closed - with Winston, Lady’s, Rocking Bulstrode, Harold Cranky and the Bus all closed!

Earlier there was a big crane by Shockwave which stayed until about 2pm and then left. I didn’t see what it was lifting/delivering.

Active work on the rollercoaster for next year too. Holes dug for footers - can’t be long now until it starts to rise!
