That’s why Drayton make you pre book your tickets at the discounted rate up to 10am on the morning of your visit and they add on roughly 1000 more if Annual pass holders book after that time so they know roughly how many members of staff in needed in that day.

The other problem is the regular staff are always in as managerment always pick them so with summer staff they want to be earning a 3 to 4 days a week so they can afford to go out but management may only need them on a Saturday or Sunday.
It’s also training as the park is now open 7 days a week to the 4th September they got no time to train new staff.
I notice quite a few ride ops have left during the season who been there for years.

Well there is plenty of opportunity to train folks on the rides when the rides are closed.
I totally get the point about the zero hours aspect, but its not like there are less rides on some days.

Haunting and Captains were open today. But Stormforce 10 went down after a couple of hours, the rapids never opened, at least one row wasn't operational on Shockwave, Barrell's was closed all day too. Loki either shut early or suffered a breakdown too.

It puts a fair strain on the other rides and queue speed.

Came on Friday and more open - but back again this afternoon and a lot closed again. I wonder if they are having problems with weekend staffing, especially with the longer hours?

That was the case on the website on monday, but the only one of those actually shut was James, terence and the Exhibition. Maybe a late change on the site, but I would take it with a pinch of salt.

But the ride is permanently closed witch is whats confuseing me. And all signage was removed

It would be best to wait until someone on site can actually see and confirm instead of going off the website in this case I'd say.

They may not be updating the page properly or miss things / remove in error. Not sure how the back end of that page looks.

Terrance is indefinitely closed from what I was told, certainly for this season, which is what the website also portrays. I'd imagine they are looking at either moving it or revamping the current 'track' as its extremely poor compared to any other driving school type attraction.

I think it needs to move as it's very hidden and now with discover thomas and friends moved there's nothing it that area

The park was very busy but so many rides still closed.

Not good. Hopefully they can get them back up soon. Also Terrence is most likely no longer a ride so I wouldn't expect him to reopen this year.

I asked a worker about it and he said we don't know what were doing yet ethier were keeping it or getting rid off it so it's probably not even gunna exist

If you visit Drayton between September 1st and October 15th, you will receive a free return ticket to use before November 15th.

I may take advantage of this as I enjoy going in November (not magical christmas) as the park is usually dead and I could also get back on my favourite rides in September.
