Most half term events see the dodgems used as undercover storage for ride parts, It could well be they need the space out the front as well adn as jolly bucanneer's entrance and exit face the dodgems that it is blocked off.

I have been looking at the opening hours on the website.

I think there is still the slim possibility of a passholder day.

Saturday 29th is the 'the big restart' with reduced main season opening hours for the weekend of 10.30 till 4.30 rather than 5. To me the main season looks as starting Friday 4th April (10.30 till 4.00) before the normal non event opening times of 10.30 till 5.00. Sunday 30th April, the park is closed so could this possibly be a passholder day? Also could be a private hire.

I may be clutching at straws but last year the passholder day was a very good and gave us hope of it being annual.

Just hoping that the park isn't cutting back in the same way that Merlin are this year.

Sorry meant to say Sunday 30th March.

The Big Restart is an interesting choice to name the start of the season. Whether this indicates something has been changed/"reset", or if it's just for marketing we'll have to wait and see.

Something like "New season, new experiences", I could get, but what does the word "restart" even mean? Restarting a season? Each season should bring something new, surely?

Parks should avoid negative insinuations, even if they aren't intended. Because people who've never been or haven't been for a long time will have no idea why the word 'restart' is on there...

It's like a new football manager or owner being hired saying the club is having a " fresh start from top to bottom", you start to ask why that needs to be said in the first place!

That being said, I do like the inclusion of the clock tower in the bottom corner. It's about time the park reconnected with its own history. The clock tower being the only surviving part of the 'manor' that features in the parks name makes it a very important symbol of the park (and the company too !)

I like the banners and lights think they are pretty cool tbf
The lights have been there since the start of the Christmas event. The way they were put into the ground you could tell theses were here to stay long term. Then the flag banners can be changed.
As it was just me and my son today I couldn’t take any pictures but there’s banners listing the major rides/attactions of the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s,90’s, 00’s, 010’s and 20’s. For the 70’s it listed the Jungle Cruise, 90’s Pirate Adventure and Shockwave and 2000’s Thomas land and Apocalypse:

Just spotted this in the zoo. The old Terence's Driving School shed has had a Meerkat Experience added to the shed. The gate to the area is still closed & the Meerkat house is closed (that might be linked to the animal safety).

sorry if this has been shared elsewhere, I couldn't find the zoo page. Please move to the appropriate group if needed
