The exhibition planned reopened date has been changed to closed for maintenance on the website so now it is unclear of when it will be open again soon

Yep. Went and had a special look.

Having not seen it before it's difficult to give an update as to wear things are.

There were two chaps working on it, although one was on his phone!!

What struck me that I hadn't picked up from the threads on here was the increasing elevation of the exhibit towards the centre. You could see the supporting structure of chicken wire building up around the middle.

What was also noticeable for me was how "fresh" it all looked. Whether it was the glass or lighting or impact of the sub at the old exhibit the colours looked a lot less vibrant than these.

Can't provide any extra detail as to the trains or buildings although I know folks would like them, I don't have that level of knowledge to identify, sorry.

Since there is a canal there, I am doing to guess that the Sodor Maid's model is going to be on display since that is a canal barge.

I see that they had put the hot air balloon has been hung on the ceiling to create the illusion of it being in the air.

Haven't got pictures yet but it currently looks the same to me the balloon looks amazing up there
