Gold Rush (New for 2024)

Can you see any of the site?

TThe current view looks like below. There are new fences up and they're quite solid. You can of course see from tall rides in the area but as filming / photography is prohibited on rides there won't be updates from these locations :)

Does it need to have one? I always thought they had an arrangement similar to Pleasure Beach where as long as it’s below a certain height it doesn’t need planning permission.

Interesting, never knew this will be a surprise then

The last ride that they needed planning permission for was Apocalypse.
Lichfield council and local residents would have seen the plans as they had major problems with the locals over noise for that end of the park.
That’s the reason they had to remove there enterprise and build Drunken Barrels boxed in on 3 sides

I think that means more "wait and see" and isn't referring to any themes :)

So far I can't see any real theme to it all... The colour scheme of the construction boards matches the entrance signs at both sides of the park around the gates.

So that confirms what management said to me on Sunday that they happy to let you know it’s gonna be a coaster but they not gonna tell you to the coaster is going up.
